SoulReaver296
Where do you feel Assassin-Inquisitors fit in with regards to stats? Would they best be represented by kitted inquisitors, or by converted assassins? And would there be any grounds to making it an eversor-inquisitor, considering the whole psychotic-needs-to-be-frozen-between-missions thing (side note: i'm trying to build my army collection to the point where if i wanted, i could represent the 5 main ordos (Malleus, Xenos, Hereticus, Sicarius, and Sepulturum) in 1 army for apoc... just for the fun of it) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/174412-ordo-sicarius/ Share on other sites
Kaled100
Members of the Ordo Sicarius are generally not necessarily trained as assassins themselves, they're simply Inquisitors who watch over the Officio; however they employ trained operatives who have had training comparable to that of Officio assassins (but of then less specialised). The Assassin-Inquisitors are deep cover agents; they have the same training as Officio assassins and the vast majority of their time is spent posing as assassins - in fact, while posing as assassins they have no idea they are members of the Inquisition. It is only under psycho-interrogation that they can release information to their handlers. Therefore I'd represent the former as an Inquisitor + retinue, and also take an Officio assassin and/or death cultists to show his Ordo allegiance. For the latter, just represent him as an Officio assassin - he's unlikely to be leading an army anyway.
