SW Traditions: Berserk Charge

Captain Talon

Recommended Posts

I was just reading my old 2nd edition codex and I noticed that Blood Claws and Ragnar had Berserk Charge even then.

I really hope they keep that going in some form, and don't just give them Furious Charge. To me that should be a Blood Angels only ability.

I'd love to see Ragnar give a unit an extra 6 inches on the charge too!!!!!

really? an extra 6"....so make a unit charge like cavalry? you don't think thats a little OTT? I personally don't want a broken army with this new codex. I'd rather have some new toys which keeps the army inline with the rest of the books.

Well said, bring the codex into line/update, new models and the odd new idea - love the sound of sagas - but nothing that makes them too easy to win with!

Woah woah...wait a mintue, dont go there. 'Kause I aint with it.

Space Wolves are ALWAYS broken....or in their case...correct. ;)

Or rather, have fleet...

Not quite the same, but it would be kinda fluffy (For BCs at least) And I'd be happy with that :-D

Yah the rumor is Ragnar gives a unit fleet, which is almost the same.....

If true, then it means they are trying to keep with the past, but now that I think about it, the rumors may be from someone who looked up the old rules, and thought it would be cool for Ragnar to have fleet as he "used" to have it.

I for one don't want an overpowered army, but I want one that is unique, fluffy, and competitive, which is the hardest thing to do in 40K. I feel the balance in 3rd edition was very close....any army and any type of army could win a tourney for example. But since 4th edition, people have been playing builds that capitalize on the rules and the level of balance has disappeared, which is a shame.

In all the years I have been playing, I won something like 3 best sportmans and 1 best army with my wolves....never an overall. My 2 overalls came with RavenGuard and Blood Angels. What really frustrates me is I never have won a best painted for the wolves, while I won one with my Imperial Fists.....GRRRRRRR!!!!

What?

Fluff = Chedddah

If space wolves followed the fluff we would be the most AWESOMELY AWESOME ARMY EVAR!!! *we are but you get the idea*

No army is truly balanced, no army is truly cheese, its all about adjusting and learning tactics to fight the new enemy.
