Question about pre-heresy SW

Hi, I´m gonna to make pre-heresy SW and I have some questions.

1) I´m planning Bloodclaws with naked chests and mohawks, as a inspiration for their pack leader I used dwarf slayers from WFB - what do you think about it?

2) And for PF I want to use Powerclaws from orc sprue (I want to have some brutal looking weapon for it) and for LC I want to use LC from Chaos terminator lord sprue

 

What do you think about it? I know it´s hard to answer, but I´m now in phase of collecting bits for them, so have you tried this appearance of SW?

Of you use a mix of parts from the Chaos Marauders from fantasy and the Catachans you will get plenty of bare chests together with t-shirts and biker jackets. OIf you combine these with Marine legs you could then use marine torso's with catachen legs as the basis of your scout squads.

 

Some of the Catachans have short mohawks but the others could easily have them added. The Marauders have some bearded and hairy heads which may be useful.

 

Both sets come with muscular arms which fit well with each other and various Marine kits and the Marauders have an assortment of close combat weapons to give you plenty of axes and shields to play with.

 

For the powerfists, the Black Orc fists from fantasy are about the right size, just clip off the weapons. If you want realy huge powerfists go for the ones in the fantasy Ogres box. I used these for my Khorne marines and they look suitably crude and brutal.

 

I will try to put some pics up later in the week so that you can see them for scale.

As CC weapons for my BC I have Chainaxes from FW (because chainaxe was standard weapon for assault units during heresy - Codex CHSM), for beardy heads I have heads from marauder horseman sprue and GS is not a big problem, so I will make mohawks by myself..using Black orc or Bulls fists as PF is good idea, I´ll think about it, thx:)

The Khorne Berserkers come with both left and right handed chainaxes and you also get running legs as well. The armour can easily be filed down in places or you could leave it on if you like skulls.

yes I know, I have worldeaters army, but I have also Mk4 armours from my friend, so I do not need berserkers armour, and legs in motion can be done also from normal legs by little converting...
