Two more Terminators converted. I'm trying to match the details of the Forgeworld kits on the rest of the models.

@Araziel

I haven't got any full units yet, this is a side project to my Space Wolves at the moment.

@DuskRaider

I'll look into that, see if I can put something up on the board.

@alejandrinus, Draakur, Natanael

Thank you!

I am by no means a nurgle fan (always disgusted me, LMAO; and I prefer khorne anyways...) but these are some fantastic minis.

That power weapon on your termi- LOVE IT. Cant wait to see how you bring it to sick, burbling, diseased life. :lol:

Also- curious about the wires, are those guitar strings you're using, or some other kind?

I've finally finished building my Daemon prince, it seemed like I never would stop adding bits to it. Here he is primed and ready to go under the brush.

Here is a group shot of my army so far. I've invested in an airbrush so hopefully the painting process will be faster now.

@d Karma b

Thank you. Yes that is guitar sting. It is a bit unwieldy and I'm considering buying some alternative.

@acolite

Thanks!

Just read through your whole log, got to say, best death guard scheme & conversions I've seen. Consider this topic subscribed ;-)

Oh & I must ask what's your technique for the PM's eyes? They look great.

@RobPhoboS

Glad you liked it!

@Sepsis the Unclean

Thank you! The eyes are painted orange and then highlighted with successive layers of orange mixed with yellow, then yellow and finally yellow mixed with white and lastly pure white. i try to keep the paint diluted with a lot of water and paint it on in thin layers.

@Lord Ragnarok

Thanks man! The wings are from Ultraforge if I remember correctly.

Rott'n'Roll!

Ive been lurking around, leeching as much inspiration as possible from this thread for awhile now, im so glad you updated this! Swords on termies and prince are most awesome add :tu: And thanks alot for the tutorial also, as im going to try your rust recipe on my puke squad :)

You are back with your Grey Knights, Space Wovles AND Death Guard?

Damn you sir! You gave me back the vipe to paint!

Love the work on the death guard! Its great to see a not draigo grey knight army! And the Space Wolves look awesome with the lighting!!

What did you do with the Blood chrushers?? :o

Long time between updates as usual! I tend to jump between projects a lot and never really finish anything. Anyway, here's what I've been up to lately.

Typhus, the Traveller

gallery_28439_5581_124377.jpg

Although I love the official Typhus mini I wanted to build my own cause I love building minis. smile.png

Nurgle sorceror

gallery_28439_5581_36627.jpg

gallery_28439_5581_30214.jpg

Maybe not the best combination of weapons but I think it looks cool.

Daemon Prince

gallery_28439_5581_252665.jpg

Daemon Prince and pals. I keep putting of painting him but I gave him a couple of passes with the airbrush. i kinda like the effect of the skin and armour colours blending together.

Terminators

gallery_28439_5581_69564.jpg

Just cause they're cool. biggrin.png

Obliterator Cult

gallery_28439_5581_133566.jpg

Early WIP. Swapped out the normal heads for zombie heads and opened up their poses a bit. Also adding some armour plating to the hips and groins to bulk out their skinny waists.

Renegades

gallery_28439_5581_171974.jpg

One of the coolest pieces of 40K's Grimdark story and armies are Traitor Guard. The FW kits are absolutley lovely too.Experimenting with different colours. I want them to have orange/yellow jumpsuits to hint at work coveralls or prison uniforms.These ended up a bit to green.

Veteran Renegades

gallery_28439_5581_60211.jpg

Had some Elysian parts lying around from my Inquisitor project and tried using them with the Renegade parts. I really like the result and think I might use them for squads of veterans as they do get quite pricey.

Old vs New

gallery_28439_5581_193814.jpg

I started adding some height at the waist to all my marine models some time ago and here is a comparison between one of the earliest and how I do them now. The cork bases also add a lot of height.

@Lachdannan

Thanks!

@teku

Well, now I'm back with yet more updates. It takes quite a lot of time to photo, edit, upload and post all the pics! biggrin.png

I've kept one Blood Crusher for my upcoming World Eaters. msn-wink.gif

@Crimson Hawk

Hehe, thanks! smile.png

@Dude with a Brush

Happy to be able to inspire! Thanks!

Instead of starting a new thread for my World Eaters I will post them here instead to keep the spam down to a minimum. biggrin.png

I don't have any real intent of building a World Eater army, I just love the kit and might use them as allies for my Death Guard.

Khorne Lord on Juggernaught

gallery_28439_10468_20295.jpg

gallery_28439_10468_139550.jpg

Still have to finish sculpting the saddle and adding chains to the collar.

Berzerkers

gallery_28439_10468_92667.jpg

gallery_28439_10468_27917.jpg

gallery_28439_10468_239203.jpg

gallery_28439_10468_202480.jpg

The FW torsos are very squat looking so I've cut of the belt and extended the abdomen on all the Berzerkers.

Wow! Great daemon prince, great terminators, great plague marines, great zerkers, lovet the champ! How did i miss this plog? I like the way you've extended the torsos on the zerkers, seems like a good way to allow for "easy" poseability. Consider me a fan:)

Some absolutely amazing work in this thread! Your World Eaters chamo and the work on the Nurgle Terminator champ stand out as especially noteworthy, and those Obliterators are improved 100% by the Blightking bitz! Excellent job so far, keep it coming! :)
