Awesome Deathwing army. They are really well painted and nicely converted. Each model stands out, which befits such powerfull warriors. Could you please provide us with some single shot pictures, as I'd like to dwell a bit more on the individual details :(

Very impressed!

I have never seen a model of belial in my life that i seen it and thought to myself yes thats what he looks like, i know people do their best to make their version of the character but this is the only one ive seen that convinces me, in which case your belial is a success

Cheers :D

@Cloud Runner,

I used a Sponge from blister packaging and simply dragged it along the model.

@kronk,

THose are "spot Lights" so the apothecary can see :D

@Metal apostle,

Yeah hopefully I'll get around to doing that at some point, same with a little detail on fire squads one and two too.

Cool looking army you have there, I couldn't help but chuckle when I saw you say finally finished because I think you finished this whole army in the same time span I managed to finish about 4 figure hehe! My slacking off aside they look great, I wasn't sold on the space hulk type bases during the wip process but seeing a whole army of them has changed my mind.

They were for a Forum Challenge on ThePaintedDragon.co.uk. We basically had to paint a 1500pt army faster then Gareth.. he came first, I came second ^_^

These are probably the best deathwing I have ever seen! I love the gritty, dirty way you painted them, very fitting for these ancient warriors. I would just like to know how you painted your models (the bone colour I mean) because want to paint my Space Marines an dirty off white colour like that, but I cant seem to get it right. A tutorial would be much appreciated :devil:.

Very nice models,

@ Master K

There's a tutorial on this site somewhere, was added to the article bit not too long ago, or if you visit my site, The Vanus Temple, the same tutorial is on there :drool:

@Cloud Runner

Started with black, then worked my way up with astartes battlegrey, codex grey and astro grey :drool:

Cheers :drool:
