I have mixed feelings about lighting effects like those you've done, but I like those ones because of their understatement in relation to the muted overall colour scheme. In that first picture, what are those 2 lights above the terminators head on the far right supposed to represent? Just some extra detailing? Dezartfox Posted August 4, 2009 Author Share Posted August 4, 2009 Cheers :D @Cloud Runner, I used a Sponge from blister packaging and simply dragged it along the model. @kronk, THose are "spot Lights" so the apothecary can see :D @Metal apostle, Yeah hopefully I'll get around to doing that at some point, same with a little detail on fire squads one and two too. My slacking off aside they look great, I wasn't sold on the space hulk type bases during the wip process but seeing a whole army of them has changed my mind. They were for a Forum Challenge on ThePaintedDragon.co.uk. I love the gritty, dirty way you painted them, very fitting for these ancient warriors. I would just like to know how you painted your models (the bone colour I mean) because want to paint my Space Marines an dirty off white colour like that, but I cant seem to get it right.
