Just be careful not to over-do it and have them all in such, and I do discourage the notion of buttons, etc... Thematic elements are just far too easy to go overboard on. Subtle hints are best. Papy carni Posted August 5, 2009 Share Posted August 5, 2009 Hem if I remember well, there was another player wich have made a marines army with the same thema, but he only use the swastika as chapter symbol on greyish marines. That was on Warsser abd his thread was finally locked maybe trashed, don't remember, search in this direction maybe some inspiratives things :) And for me there 's no problem with this thema despite that I'm french :lol:, I've played a mechanised force of old cadian painted like panzergrenadier, I'd just used the military marks , mainly balkenkreuz and animals totema, skipping the more "tendencious" symbol, never had problem with them, I think it can be applied to marines. Younger aren't responsable of elder's acts. Who know what he had done if he had been living in this troubled times. To not be too much off topic, I 'm pretty sure that no one in GW will say that there's no III reich's flavour in GW product and fluff :P look hat the comissars, the double headed eagle or the old metal cadians, some primarc's way of mind etc etc...
