DestroyerBane Posted August 6, 2009 Share Posted August 6, 2009 im pretty new to the game but my friend has lent me some of his books including his Index Astartes books i was wondering if raven guard command squads get jepacks because of this quote "If not mounted in a transport, members of a command squad may be equipped with jump packs at a cost of 10 points per model" and if that counted then i guess that the other part in the book is true if that part is... so is this still legal or not? Legatus Posted August 6, 2009 Share Posted August 6, 2009 The Index Astartes articles were additional rules to be used with the 3rd Edition Codex Space Marines. Then the 4th Edition Codex Space Marines was released and the Index Astartes rules were replaced by the Trait system. Now we have the 5th Edition Codex Space Marines, where a few of the special units have been included in the basic army list (like GW did with Eldar and Imperial Guard).
