Lansirill
I picked up an Exorcist a while back with plans to field it as an Immolator. The conversion is just a very simple bit-swap for a few pieces, nothing terribly impressive there, but I'm taking my time on painting it and decided to try and do a WIP thread for it. Right now I have the sand/bone color that the main body is going to be painted. The next step will be to edge some of the armor plates in red. After that I'm not sure what piece I'll work on next, possibly the insides of the side doors. Anyways, the fun stuff, just a few shots of the hull paint: http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f119/lansirill/Sisters%20of%20Battle/IMG_0658.jpg http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f119/lansirill/Sisters%20of%20Battle/IMG_0659.jpg http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f119/lansirill/Sisters%20of%20Battle/IMG_0660.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/175579-exorcist-immolator-wip/ Share on other sites
Vlad III
That is a really neat paint scheme. I'd love to see some Sisters in that scheme. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/175579-exorcist-immolator-wip/#findComment-2074903 Share on other sites

Lansirill
Finally got off my butt and painted the organ pipes (Er, I just realized I forgot to do some trimming... oh well.) Next I'll probably paint the servitor and give the organ pit a wash just to keep it from looking completely ignored. The join between the pipes and the tank isn't filling me with joy, but short of sitting down and doing more greenstuff work on a minor issue than I care to, that's the way the model looks. I'm sticking with a dirty style rather than keeping everything clean and crisp. I feel it fits into the whole grimdark idea better, and I find the aesthetic to be a little different and more attractive. I should probably stop taking larger-than-life photos since that tends to be fairly rough on my style. http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f119/lansirill/Sisters%20of%20Battle/IMG_0689.jpg http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f119/lansirill/Sisters%20of%20Battle/IMG_0690.jpg http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f119/lansirill/Sisters%20of%20Battle/IMG_0691.jpg http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f119/lansirill/Sisters%20of%20Battle/IMG_0692.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/175579-exorcist-immolator-wip/#findComment-2088078 Share on other sites
