Warhorse47
Okay, couldn't get the blog link to work, so this old codger will just post the pics here. I have some unit markings on the left side of those other Astartes 've fought alongside, but I need some suggestions for a name for the Raider. The 13th Company guys are coming along too. http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff303/Kevin-Andra/004-14.jpg http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff303/Kevin-Andra/002-18.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/175649-pics-of-my-completed-pledge/ Share on other sites
Skalver
Nice work, I better get my finger out, pledge time is running out. Is that an Iron Priest conversion near the Land Raider's back corner in the top picture? Looks pretty cool whatever it is. Brother Tuditanus
Nice work brother! I'm just finishing up some color scheme tinkering before I put the final touches on mine.. Could use any advice you have! Plus my minds slipping on colors for Wolf Guard shoulder pads and Wolf Scouts, and I can't find my bloody Codex! Warhorse47
Yup, that's an Iron Priest back there based on an old RT mini. I've been really happy with the Testor's Model Master paints, much better to me than GW's paint [sorry GW]. As far as shoulder colors, I'm using the basics of red, black, yellow, etc to separate squads of all my GH, BC, LF, etc. units as it makes it easier to keep track in close combat and moving. 'Bout how much does that run a container? And any suggestions for a highlight color? Warhorse47
Runs about $3 per bottle at my shop or $6 for the spray can. I use one of their lighter grays for the highlights. BTW, their flat black enamel is so good for priming one or two minis it is incredible. Lord Howland Greywolf
I have found that naming LR's after monsters, great heros or battles. Mine for example is called "Leviathan" after reading the story in the marine codex about the LR that drove out of the water and up the beachhead.
