Dewi Sant
Greetings brothers, These are the finished pics of my Wolf Scouts that I have painted for the Great Hunt. I've been away from the painting table far to long, manly due to work commitments but have never stopped following the hobby and more importantly the wolves. While on leave and with nothing to do I started surfing the net and came across the Great Hunt post. It give me just the boost I needed and to pick up my brushes and dust off some primed models and paint. I'm also working on some Wolf Guard in TDA and will post the pics when finished. Any comments or feed back would be much appreciated. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/175674-wolf-scouts-go-on-the-hunt/ Share on other sites

Dewi Sant
Very nicely done brother! Not a big fan of that blue a shade, but well done! Thanks. :D Not sure why but they came out really blue in the pics, think its the artificial light. :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/175674-wolf-scouts-go-on-the-hunt/#findComment-2075975 Share on other sites
Brother Tuditanus
Very nicely done brother! Not a big fan of that blue a shade, but well done! Thanks. :D Not sure why but they came out really blue in the pics, think its the artificial light. :) Depending on the brand, it can do that... Some types of light respond to certain dyes/colors more, so it will bring out that shade.. Hence why sometimes, especially with light colors, a good blending and highlighting on a model can just look crap. Especially with cloth and fabric. Try natural light, or failing that a flash light. Avoid camera flash if you can. If you're lucky, your camera will have a Macro + LED function like mine. That works wonders. Dewi Sant
Thanks for your kind words brothers, have a ale on me. :D I've never really liked the models them selves. I think they are to small and don't look like elite recce force the fluffy says there are. They don't even look bloody old enough to shave! Not that wolf lords are arsed about clean shaven troops with the corret length of side burns! :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/175674-wolf-scouts-go-on-the-hunt/#findComment-2076919 Share on other sites
