Thanks for the positive feedback guys. No picture today didn't achieve much last night, spent most of my time cleaning my basing materials off the floor after my 1yr old daughter decided to pull the tub off the table. The little monkey used the rung on the chair I was sat on to give herself a bit of a boost. There was a casualty as well the Librarian was in there getting his base done the banner broke off. Super glue to the rescue.

@MalevolentMc - I did intentionally start out with just buying what I needed. The thing is, I'm like a kid in a sweet shop when I go near a GW store, don't think I've ever come out of one with out some thing.

@barry_hhh - cheers for the link, wont be buying any of that stuff just yet. Just spent £58 on the new Space Hulk board game (as a christmas present for myself), don't think the better half would be to happy me spending more money at the present time. Bills, food and nappies come first.

EDIT: @ barry_hhh - for the weathering I use a 000 brush with a very small amount of Chaos Black on the end just apply lightly. Mix Enchanted Blue and Skull White, I'd say 30/70 then apply a thin line to the underside of the Chaos Black.

@Typical Cricket - You can count on there being more, the list I posted at the bottom of page one is what you can expect to see over the coming months.

@Shortsonfire79 - Elubian has been sacked for Eluvia as it rolls off the tongue better. 5 Dreadnoughts at the moment, I'll get them painted up before I invest in anymore. MKIV forge world one(s) and the Chaplin dreadnought should make an appearance in the future.

@blackbabyjesus - The blue is simple.

Chaos Black Undercoat

Enchanted Blue basecoat

60/40 mix Chaos Black & Enchanted Blue - wash over armour, leave to dry then re-apply to recesses and around details.

Re-apply Enchanted Blue leaving the recesses and detail the darker shade.

50/50 mix Enchanted Blue and Skull white 1st highlight

Add some more Skull White to the mix and apply to the extreme edges.

Hope that helps.

Apologies for the double post.

Librarian is now complete, I've sorted out the staff so it doesnt look wonky any more. Re-done the book scripture and added some colour. Here's a quick picture.

Are you going to paint the rim of the base? Or leave it black?

- MMC

Sorry for the late reply MMC, yeah the base edge is staying black.
