Dewi Sant
Brother Wolves of the fang, After finishing off my scouts I can concestrate on the rest of my pledge. I've posted a few pics of my Wolf Guard as they near completion to show you how they are coming along. Any comments or tips would be welcome. Need to finish off the face, hair, final highlights and sort out the base. Again need to do final highlighting and sort out the base. Also been working on my Long Fang Predator Annihilator. I've had a play with GS and managed to make a WTN and a small pelt with a rune stone. I'm really happy with the green stuff work as is the first time I've used it on my minis for anything else other than filling in gaps. :) Hope you like, and I will post some more pics when finished. Thanks brother Megalodon  For anyone who is interested I use the following recipe to paint yellow. I start with Iyanden Darksun followed by a wash of Gryphonne Sepia. Once dry I highlight with a 70/30 mix of Iyanden Darksun and Golden Yellow. A second and final highlight of a 70/30 mix of Golden Yellow and Iyanden Darksun. Dewi Edited for wrong recipe. Lord Rao
Yeah good stuff on the Green Stuff! :D The pelt is really kinda cool. I'd like to see one with paws/claws attached, but that's just me. Would love to see more. LR Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/175945-pledge-nears-completion/#findComment-2079398 Share on other sites

Skalver
Very nice work. Can I ask how you did the skin on the leaders face. You seem to have achieved a very nice sunbeaten look that fits the army very well. Dewi Sant
Very nice work. Can I ask how you did the skin on the leaders face. You seem to have achieved a very nice sunbeaten look that fits the army very well. I start with Chaos Black undercoat and apply a slightly watered down Dark flesh to the face till an even coverage is achieved. The face is then given a wash of a 80/20 combernation of Ogryn Flesh, Devlan Mud. Once dry I highlight with a 70/30 mix of Dark Flesh, Dwarf Flesh and a Second highlight of 30/70 Dark Flesh, Dwarf Flesh. A final highlight of of Dwarf Flesh is then added. Hope this helps.
