Disembarking

5th Ed 40K Rulebook, page 70, bottom of 2nd column:

 

Passengers may not embark onto or disembark from a fast vehicle if it has moved (or is going to move) flat out in that movement phase.

 

So no you can't disembark from a Falcon that has moved flat out.

 

You can if it was stationary or moved at combat or cruising speed.

Not exactly, you can move at cruising speed down a road to 18" (you need to be on a road), and still disembark as its cruising speed.

 

Also, I believe Stormtroopers can get out of a Valkyrie that moves flat out, but they have special rules for that.

Good point but not for fast skimmers as they ignore roads. 12" max for them or they're going flat out.
