a few of them are a little blurry, but this is my "fists of doom" BC unit. 9 of them with a WGPL with a fist of his own. 12 PF attacks on the charge ftw!

Unless I misunderstand you, 9 BC with a pack leader and no IC could not muster 12 PF attacks on the charge I'm afraid... Remember you don't get the bonus attack for two CC weapons unless you have 2 powerfists.

The moneyshot, for me at least, is 11 BCs with 3 fists - 9 attacks on the charge + a spot in the LR for an IC or PL (with a fist if you so desire for 12+ nasty attacks).

explain to me why i dont get 4 attacks when im base 1 and BP+PF (i am assuming then that BP+CCW gets 4). I havent played since 4e

This is why you need to play 13th company.... there is just something about getting 8 power fist attacks from a sergeant that gets you banned from the LGS.

And they are indeed correct power fists & thunder hammers now fall into the catagory of lightening claws where you need 2 of them to get a bonus attack.

Power fists, thunder hammers and lightning claws fall into the category of "special" close combat weapons, where you need a pair of them to be able to get the additional attack for 2xCCW.

Power weapons, pistols and CCW's aren's special and therefore still grant the +1 A if you have any mixed pair of them.

It's a new rule out of 5th ed, and is explained in the close combat section of the new rulebook. If memory serves, Maneus Calgar may be the only legitimate model out there with a pair of powerfists. We can make one of our own w/ an IC, but 20 pts for an additional attack is a bit steep.

thanks! and i was going to a dirty look on my pads, and the yellow is a horrible one, and im not going to use it any more. it is just way to thin IMHO. and they way that i did that was with a heavy wash of badab black using the wash brush, just so amazing

Yeah i know yellow is so painful! The only way i could paint it is to paint on schorched brown than mix sunburst yellow (i think don't remember ) with scorched brown .

I will follow your wip mate keep on with the good work!

I watched one of the black shirts use that, and the yellow looked way to green for me. (i also happen to be red/green color blind). I like the bright look and then washed over to make it look oily dirty. i am going to experiment when i go to paint my LFs by using the devlan mud just on the pads to see if i like that look better. if i do any other wolf models I paint from here out will be muddy.
