Alternative Inquisitoress and Acolytes/Crusaders

It is indeed a shame that GW is being so..... strict about what happens in their stores. Right now they even want to prohibit people from using Forge World products, what hits a great deal of the people around here as many have conversion heavy armies and many love to spam Forge World parts in their armies.

I personally don't get the logic behind this but since when has GW been driven by common sense and logic?

Eh? Forge World is part of GW, how could they ban it from the stores?

You sure that isn't just your local store manager/staff being moronic?

Indeed it is a stupid thing but at least i know now why my LGS manager is that way: he spent a good load of money on his Titan Legion but now he has no one wanting to play against him. Due to this he hasn't played since the store opened ( no one wants to fight 15 Titans with the current forces our players have) and has been rather cranky; and neither does the LGS provide enough space to actually have such big games.

haven't been able to get that a good look at the face without paint and the metal makes it hard to see many details but what i can see is that the actual face does not look much like the artwork.

Take another shot of her after you've primed her, so we can see. I have the feeling that awkward and disproportionate faces is a problem that affects a not-insignificant proportion of the Anima Tactics line.

As you can see the Avatar of War models came in today not even two hours ago and i have to say i am rather happy with them. the Models looks as great as i thought they would and the way they are divided into pieces makes assembly rather easy. there are little to none mold lines and each piece will be easy to prepare for assembly (unlike the Wyrd model ;) )

The only 'problem' i have is that the model is roughly a full head taller than the boxed Veteran Superior but so what? the model looks pretty darn good and will fit in well with the rest of the Inquisitress Retinue. I am more of a gamer than a painter but for this model and a few others i am actually looking forward to the day i will finally have time to sit down and paint them.

I scanned this post pretty quickly, but I don't think I saw any mention of sisters sigmar models. I used one of the sigmar superiors for my priestess when ever I feel like running repentia. I'm sure you could model them into acolytes or what ever.

Why all female models, some would ask? Well you could just say your army or branch of the imperial church follows the decree de passive extremely literally. That's what I say with mine.

Using models from other lines can be tricky, the proportion issue for one, then there's the whole issue if needing mostly GW parts for tournaments, but that's not always an issue.

I got around priming the models a bit ago and as - 7eAL - requested I have a primed shot of the Anima Tactics model's face

I can't find anything that feels disproportionate or awkward about the face but you opinions may differ.

@ Quasarcq: i hardly play any tournaments and mostly at fellow collectors's places, hence the whole "need mostly GW parts" is of little consequence to me.
