I love your highlights. also with free hand tanks are great to do it on I have a rhino with freehand all over it (not that good though). But It does take practise. A couple of things, First I'm not sure if you've finshed up with the Terminators yet, but if you're still stuck for colours for the Crux Terminatus on their shoulders I went with muted gold for mine. I'm not sure if that's any help. Second the weathering on the Rhino is spot on, not too much and not too little. Finally, here's my recipe for white, I don't know if it'll be any use to you but you never know. Start with a basecoat of Space Wolves Grey. then depending on how dark you want the shading you can either: Wash the recesses with Badab Black or Use watered down Shadow Grey to shade Then tidy up any slips and splashes with Space Wolves Grey Next use a (roughly) 50/50 mix of Space Wolves Grey and Skull White for the first highlight layer Then if you want to take it up further you can highlight again with pure Skull White. it's kinda a long and involved process, but I find the more muted white you end up with a bit more pleasing to the eye. keep the Sons coming brother, we're slowly taking over the B&C ;) James Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Lots to do, plus I was thinking about adding a pair of Land Speeders, another Rhino and a Dev Squad to them. I've knocked out a rough list of what I have so far and i'm trying to build up to 2000 points, but i've only got just over 1500 at the moment. I got a Hobby drill for xmas and decided to try it out, on his Storm Bolter. Well it wasn't the wisest decision I've ever made.
