I've been working on them off an on for a while. Thought about doing some WIP stuff but I'm faily self conscious about my stuff as my skills are not exactly the best. So here they are for you guys to see! cc welcome, hope you all enjoy. I would just like to let you know, however, that you'd probably have a pretty hard time passing that off as a powerfist. A power weapon, defenitely, but a fist...well...I mean...it's an axe :\. Grazcruzk Posted August 26, 2009 Author Share Posted August 26, 2009 Yeah, you guys got the idea spot on. Big, slow, two handed axes, in my opinion, work as pfists. I almost wanted to give all the zerkers regular-looking axes, but that could easily get confusing. I've got the champs, if and when I get squads together for them I'll be sure to share. Grazcruzk Posted August 26, 2009 Author Share Posted August 26, 2009 Well eventually when I get an army done they will have about that gore level. I don't play anymore because there is no one to play with in my area and my resources right now are limited to the models I've gathered over the years, which means lots of loyalist conversions are in order (which is fine by me). The gore is actually really simple. I just mix dirt from off the back porch with with pva glue and some water until it more or less looks like mud, then apply liberally. Heavy red gore drybrush and blood red, with a few red ink washes in there (seems like I do it a little different every time). Then, you can't really tell in the pictures, but put a layer of glossy clear coat on on the fresh areas. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

One of the axe men got changed into an icon bearer though since this squad would be played as a regular CSM squad with an icon of Khorne.
