FF151
Hey Guys, This is the 2nd dreadnaught I have done, both from AOBR kits. Some customization with Forge world bits, painted to the Crimson Fist scheme, I hope you like and I appreciate any and all comments! A short video is on Youtube as well.......here... http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2551/3863311968_302e6a0b04.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3515/3863349276_06c5a83d9e.jpg http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2499/3863336684_945c905880.jpg http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2647/3863328190_9bb7765bcd.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3444/3863321624_23aaf2e3e6.jpg Video here... Warden99
Very nice! Always been a big fan of the "tree claw" battle dammage! Gotta love it :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/176990-my-2nd-dreadnaught-crimson-fists/#findComment-2092975 Share on other sites
Justicar Valius
some very nice detailing rather ruined by it being an AOBR dred. Otherwise you could of swivelled the body and made some better alterations for the pose. But i suppose that is what you get when you demand amazing value Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/176990-my-2nd-dreadnaught-crimson-fists/#findComment-2093050 Share on other sites
ShinyRhino
Nice paint and details. Very crisp. But the one thing that stands out at me that I'm not a huge fan of is the center of the powerclaw. It looks very "organic" and makes it look like it's got some sort of Sarlacc monster in there, a la a Nurgle Dread. Sadetta
nice dread detaining. but i think you can do it better Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/176990-my-2nd-dreadnaught-crimson-fists/#findComment-2093458 Share on other sites
Isiah
He's great, maybe a bit overdone on the battle damage on the body? The CF colour scheme is a nice pallette that makes the red and gold details really pop out. Cheers I Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/176990-my-2nd-dreadnaught-crimson-fists/#findComment-2093571 Share on other sites
philpill
I agree that you might've added a bit too much battle damage - the more you add, the less convincing it appears ... tho' it works for the power fist. Also, is that tinsel he's getting tangled up in there ? :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/176990-my-2nd-dreadnaught-crimson-fists/#findComment-2096275 Share on other sites
The Crimson Cartel
Nice paint and details. Very crisp. But the one thing that stands out at me that I'm not a huge fan of is the center of the powerclaw. It looks very "organic" and makes it look like it's got some sort of Sarlacc monster in there, a la a Nurgle Dread. ^ my 1st thought also.. but other than than, all good. I like the fist conversion on the sarc cover Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/176990-my-2nd-dreadnaught-crimson-fists/#findComment-2096472 Share on other sites
Lavaman
looks impressive although i feel there's too many colours going on, on future projects i'd suggest narrowing your colour pallete Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/176990-my-2nd-dreadnaught-crimson-fists/#findComment-2097661 Share on other sites
FF151
Hey Guys, Thanks for your comments, the colours are actually quite subdued in real life, the photos exagerate their brightness. I have washed them with badab black, so in real life they are much less overbearing. lotsa_terminators
man...quit posting your Fists, seriously...youre making the rest of us look bad! This is great work though. Are you going to add lights like you did with the Razorback/Rhino? FF151
Hey, Thanks for the comment, I thought about lights in the dreadnaughts, but There is just so little room, and even less time:) My next vehicle will be a redeemer and there will be lights in that one.
