Pictures will be very much apreciated.

Now you mods out there. If this thread is not power armoured enough i will understand but i would really like to see this thread go through at least long enough to see some awseome rhinos and chimeras.

I have been doing grey with gold, black, or red in certain sections depending on what is riding in it. To me, it says "I dont need a flashy, painted up tank to kick your butt".... at least that is what I'm hoping. No play, all business. ;)

My "Ironfist" arbites rhino....

That should give you an idea of what my tanks are looking like at the moment. My newest IST unit(s) are gonna be all black, so the rhino/chimey I'll be using for future units will be all black as well.

I have a pair of Inquisition Chimeras with FW Inq. rear hatches and small Inquisition insignia on the sides. My Deathwatch Rhinos and Razorbacks are modelled as Inquisition vehicles with the small Chimera Inquisition insignia on the side door without steps and a gelcoat copy of the larger central insignia from the Chimera Inquisition rear hatch on the Rhino rear hatch. The small FW insignia appear on the sides of the Inquisitor Lord's Land Raider too.

I don't like bright red Inquisition paint schemes or the mainly red schemes with small black panels (i.e. at the 4 corners over a Rhino's tracks). The FW website has a sample page from Vraks III that shows a nice looking greenish/turquoise Inquisitor's Rhino, a black Inquisitorial Storm Troopers' Chimera, and an Inquisitor Lord's muted red Land Raider with dull gold or brass trim.

The 2 Inquisition Chimeras are being painted like the one shown in Vraks II. The FW Inquisition insignia will be painted in dull metallic colours like the Vraks III example. There are 4 more Chimeras to transport Inquisitorial Storm Troopers and/or Arbites. Those 4 are black with red Arbites decals from BoLS. (I'll say the Inq. requisitioned them for the Storm Troopers.) The Arbites have 2 Repressors in black with red Arbites decals and are used as WH Troops.

The Deathwatch Rhinos/Razorbacks are black with blood red 'corner' panels over the tracks. Their Inqusition insignia are brighter than the Chimeras' - blood red 'I's with shining gold trim on a bleached bone field, with more gold trim on the edges.

I haven't painted the Inquisitor Lord's Land Raider yet but may copy the dull red and gold scheme shown in Vraks III. That one has Red Hunter decals and will be a good match as an Inquisition ally to my mixed Red Hunters/Deathwatch force.

You're discussing legal DH/WH units, so it's all good, JV.

I paint most of my vehicles the same... Or I will, when I get more than the stupid Immolator I got. :)

But well, a pic of it whilst it wasn't really done... But it gives a good idea of the base.

I haven't got any pics of it now, when it's done... And it's not at my mom's anyway...

Cheers!

I've been painting the Chimeras in the razzle-dazzle camouflage pattern used by battleships in the world wars. It's very tedious work but the results are pretty cool so far.

My Sisters' AFVs are painted in quartered black and light green. I have a number of those finished but no camera to record them.

My Land Raider is done similarly to Hellbreakers Rhino, which is sorta the red w/ black armor plates pattern as hinted at in the Codex. I've gotten a lot of compliments on it. I'll try to get a picture up sometime and link it here relatively soon :/
