Dreadnought TL Weapon Choice?

On page 137 of the codex, it lists the weapons that can replace the DCCW.

It says:

"Replace the Dreadnought close combat weapon with

-twin-linked autocannon or missile launcher:"

 

Does that mean that the missile launcher is twin linked or not? I can read it both ways.

The autocannon is twin-linked, the missile launcher is not.

 

Just another example of GW writing sloppy rules.

 

However, they do write rules based on models that are available - and the Left arm twin autocannon is available from FW. No such twin-linked missile launcher arm exists.

Ever looked at a landspeeder Typhoon? It looks very very similar to the Dreads ML arm. It also looks alot like the old TDA cyclones too.

It used to fire two shots from a missile launcher... back in 2nd or 3rd edition

2nd ed it used a similar rule to the cyclone launcher on terminators (dreadnought missile pod) including salvo.
