Ive tried a new method of painting and highlighting after reading an article on painting white. I painted it Codex Grey, a wash of Badab black and then 3 graduations of grey drybrushed up to white . Heres the Wip so far C&C welcome. My only comment would be the paint is too thick in places. I just do this for fun so its whatever looks cool in my book. I tried it with bolt pistols but the plasma pistols looked cooler. Celestin Posted September 1, 2009 Share Posted September 1, 2009 You know, I hadn't realized that until it was just pointed out, but you're right, technically apothecaries cannot take upgrades via SM Codex. I suspect it is possible that GW may change that via errata though, similar to how they allowed Sergeants to take options allowed to Veterans in the DA Codex for Veterans Squads.
