Brother Nihm
The story, JeanFrancois used to visit the BnC regularly to dazzle us with his brilliantly painted Deathguard (and Word Bearers). Before leaving the hobby he used to run jeanfrancois.org which later turned into daemonicaura.com. On his site he hosted a Deathguard speed painting tutorial that was nothing short of amazing. Both sites are (more or less) lost in the Warp now and all attempts to contact him have been unsuccessful. Now my question to you guys is: Does anyone here have the tutorial saved somewhere? or know of someone that does? Alternatively, I was wondering if anyone here (Nurgle player or otherwise) would be willing to help me replicate it? You see, I have managed to get my hands on the first 4 pictures of the tutorial (out of 9) as well as the text in the tutorial. Using that I'm quite certain that it's possible to recreate the tutorial. If you're interested in replicating it, or if you have any questions, please drop me a PM. :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/177370-jean-francoiss-dg-tutorial/ Share on other sites
Prot
Yea, I remember him. I remember he really liked the way I painted my Death Guard which kinda surprised me.... I think his word bearers were great too. I think he was in Canada too... I wish I still had a way of contacting him for you. Sorry.... I do recall a while back him selling his stuff on ebay as he left the hobby. Maybe you can find him on ebay somehow? Muskie
People in Montreal can contact him. He knew Sebastian Fortes who I knew. Go to the Canadian Miniature painting forum get ahold of Team Montreal or Team France Canada. The problem is he used @jeanfrancois a lot. EBay isn't a bad idea. Business
I used the Wayback Machine to visit the tutorial. Not sure if the link will work but here it is..."DaemonicAura.Com-DG Speed Painting". No pictures, but all the text is there for your perusal. :( Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/177370-jean-francoiss-dg-tutorial/#findComment-2098762 Share on other sites
