Lockable
So, I am wondering if the only units that can deepstrike in both the BA Codex and the SM Codex are units that take Drop Pods. Can Terminators and Assault Marines no longer Deepstrike? So do we now HAVE to havbe drop pods in order to deepstrike? Seahawk
You must read the whole "pamphlet" (the army list section, specifically) that is the BA codex; every unit with jump packs or terminator armor has the deep strike special rule. Failing that, pg 52 of the rulebook says that any unit of Jump Infantry can deep strike. Similarly, you must also read the Space Marine codex. It's a little more roundabout for wargear, but in the equipment section (pg 100) it describes how models with jump packs can deep strike, while on pg 102 it says that models in terminator armor can deep strike. All landspeeders come with deep strike. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/177414-deep-striking/#findComment-2097325 Share on other sites
SeattleDV8
Just to be clear BA Land Speeders are not allowed to Deep Strike. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/177414-deep-striking/#findComment-2097516 Share on other sites
