weasleybob
I wanted to take a Space Marines Captain with a Lightning Claw and Storm Shield (I took the claw since it was the same points as the Sword but with re-rolls to wound). Is this allowed by the rules? The claw and shield come under the same option but it says "he may swap his bolt pistol and/or chainsword with:". thanks for any help :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/177415-captains-storm-shields-and-lightning-claws/ Share on other sites
Seahawk
Yes you can. They just lumped them together because they cost the same points. DarkGuard
I wanted to take a Space Marines Captain with a Lightning Claw and Storm Shield (I took the claw since it was the same points as the Sword but with re-rolls to wound). Is this allowed by the rules? The claw and shield come under the same option but it says "he may swap his bolt pistol and/or chainsword with:". thanks for any help :D The key is 'he may swap his bolt pistol and/or chainsword with'. So it says and/or. So you can swap both his weapons for the choices listed below. So you can swap them both out for a storm shield and lightning claw. So in short, yes, it is allowed by the rules. EDIT: Seahawk beat me to it. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/177415-captains-storm-shields-and-lightning-claws/#findComment-2097330 Share on other sites
