Thinking of replacing my land raiders with the forge world Mrk1 raiders. Curently converting another HQ unit, off of Calgars body, will post some wip pics of it. Possibly getting a special Emperor figure to be used as an HQ. I will be using Daemonhunters rules for them. I have to thank Kaleb Dark on the B&C for it was him army that i got alot of my ideas from, and the inspiration for this army. I guess ill try to post some better pics later. One of two things is happening. Either the picture is being made smaller by imageshack, or you are linking to the thumbnail of it on imageshack. I suggest looking at the files on your harddrive, opening them in photoshop (or even paint) and checking their resolution. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Imageshack may do it automatically if they are too large, but if they were a more standard size may leave them alone. Just use photobucket. It is better and doesn't change your resolution. Drudge Dreadnought Posted September 2, 2009 Share Posted September 2, 2009 You are looking for a number like 800x600 or 1280x1024 or even 2000xSomething which is what my camera does. Unless you are using something like a camera phone it should be a fairly large resolution. Drudge Dreadnought Posted September 2, 2009 Share Posted September 2, 2009 That is gigantic, which is why image shack is cutting them down too much. You want to change their size to something like 1280x1024 (about the largest you want for posting here) or even smaller like 800x600. If you have photoshop, resize them in that. Just do image size (probably under the image menu depending on what version) then set the pixels to be whatever size you want. Be sure to resize the image, not the canvas as this will just crop it. If you don't have photoshop, paint does work. However if you just go to attributes and change the size there, it will cut the image not shrink it. So you go to stretch/skew and change the size there, but it'll be by % so just guess an amount, then go to attributes after to see what size you got. But i can offer a few tips: - Don't use flash, set up proper lighting instead. - Use some sort of background even if its just a box or folder. - Make sure your hands are steady. If you can rest your camera on something do so. Sometimes just clicking the button will knock it off focus and blur the picture, so take 2-3 from every angle you want. Some others may have more tips. I think there was a thread somewhere on how to take pics. Anyway keep at it.
