FF151 Posted September 14, 2009 Author Share Posted September 14, 2009 Hey Guys, The Kit is done ! Wow that took more time than what I thought. Especially all the pinning work, then I decided to install magnets into the servo harness and techmarine so I could take it apart for easier storage and transport. I hope you like them, please take a second to leave a comment. A few things I have noted looking at the pics, one is that the techmarine's red eyes do not stand out as much as they do in real life, and the highlighting looks fairly thick in the pics but in real life it looks pretty good. Anyhoo, I would appreciate any comments so I can keep getting better! jlmb_123 Posted September 15, 2009 Share Posted September 15, 2009 I have to say that I love those Servitors. The skin looks more like a drawing than a surface on a miniature. It's a great effect. How do the red eyes on the Techmarine look in person? I can;t see them at all in the picture, which makes the helmet detail look flat. Have you considered doing them in blue? I looked through the codex, looked online, looked everywhere to decide what colour of eyes. I knew that there should be more contrast, but I just felt that the eyes had to be red to match the fists. In real life, the colour of the eyes does in fact stand out compared to the helmet. Not as much as what I would like, but you easily can see the eyes and the colour difference.
