Iron-Daemon Forge Posted September 5, 2009 Share Posted September 5, 2009 Hi everone Well no dout like thasound if not 80,000+ people, I have been luck enough to advance order a "few" Space Hulks (three in total, two for me & one which a friend ask me to get for them while they are in Afgan on military tour of duty until Nov). My copy is sitting upstais still boxed until the 24th November, (which is my birthday.) In the mean time I'm looking forward to seeing what others do with this amazing set of mini's. Painted Brother Noctis as the first Terminators from the new Space Hulk set http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v473/ironwarriors/insane%20psycopath/bday09/DSC05481.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v473/ironwarriors/insane%20psycopath/bday09/DSC05482.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v473/ironwarriors/insane%20psycopath/bday09/DSC05483.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v473/ironwarriors/insane%20psycopath/bday09/DSC05484.jpg For painting my Blood Angel Terminators I simple went with - Mechrite Red, leave the join between the armour black - Blood Red highlight - Mud wash - Dester yellow for the purity seal follow by Bleach bone - Dwarf Bronze follow by brown ink for the egal icons - Fortress Grey follow by Skull white for the shoulder pad - Bolt gun metal which (still to do) will be given a Black wash & then highlight with mithrail silver. I went for a darker tone as I really do hate painting bright colours & like wise I am not a fan of slow painting. I want my models to look cool but same time be fast in term of painting. IP Edit: Sorry if photos are a little mess up, current having to take photos on my paint stastion & dose not give much room for me to take decent photos. So going to try & add a bit of orange to the Blood red & re-highlight. Like wise I notice I made the mistake as the left knee pad has the Icon/the White with a black line as shown on his right shoulder pad.
