dizzy-xc
2003 chaos space marine codex states the best armor save vs a khornate chainaxe is 4+. So 5th edition rules allow for Storm Shields an invulnerable save of 3+. My opponent and I cannot agree on whether to use 3+ or 4+ saves. He states that the rules only say armor, and make no mention of invulnerable save modifiers.... I disagree. Other opinions? Legatus
There are armour saves, cover saves and invulnerable saves. The rules for Chain Axes of Khorne have an effect against armour saves. Invulnerable saves are not armour saves. Iron_Chaos_Brute
Tell your opponent to buy a new Chaos Codex. And you were right. Frosty the Pyro
Ineed, the old axes had no effect on invulnerable saves, so you could chose to take the 3+ inv save over your now 4+ armor save. Either way though he should go and get the new codex and not use the old one. dizzy-xc
Thx guys... yeah, gonna go get the new chaos codex at some point. I didn't think invulnerable saves were affected. Cool. Legatus
I didn't think invulnerable saves were affected. And they aren't. If you were originally the one saying that they were not affected, you have been right. Though from your original post I got the impression that that was what your opponent was saying. In which case he was right, and Iron_Chaos_Brute had been misunderstanding your post.
