This will be the 5th Space Marine army i've painted up (having done 1500 Ultras, 3500 Templars, 5000+ Blood Angels and 1700 Iron Snakes) http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j232/ultramarines/White%20Hands/OnyxShields.jpg I image the White Hands as one of many Imperial Fist successors. I used to field my SMs with dark brown and bone white, but as it grew to boring to me, I started to incorporate a dark blue tone, similar to your's. But I never achieved such a nice look, as you did. I really like the opposing brown-blue and black-white contrasts, but tying bown and black as main colors. I hope you don't mind, if I take some inspiration from your force. I like to use a very eye-catching accent color when doing dark schemes. It shifts the eye towards the accents and away from the messy dark areas :tu: - The armor is actually tin bits and not brown - the white hand does kinda look like a white glove, they felt almost mime-ish for a bit but i really needed something to set the scheme - the sergeant's shield is just for fun and has not in-game use - Anyone have a link to "the white hands"? I haven't seen them around. I have no desire to change their name though. I'm happy with it and it's not like the other white hands are official or anything.
