Great Unclean One

Here is my finished GUO.

The model was stunning and he was flash free and needed no scratching or gap filling.

It certainly was an experience painting him and I really enjoyed it!!!

The only problem I had was what to do with his base. I tried adding nurglings but they just hid nice details the model had.

So I decided to do the little pond with icky sticky dirty water in it...

The shoulder pad was painted to resemble scorched metal from a plasma shot. I hope I got it done well....

Thanks guys!

I am happy with the eyes because I was afraid he might come out cross eyed...

@ RagingGriffon : I went to the website and I also could not find him. When I bought him he was the last one in stock so maybe because they have none available they took him off...

sweet mini, and awesome paint. at my LGS there is one like that except was posed with the sword in front and green stuffed a long disgusting tongue wrapping around the blade. reminds me alot of it. makes me want to start a demon army.

dude! what a paint job...with such large surface areas it must have been hard to keep it all painted the same colours...

I hope my models turn out as good off the painting bench.

Thanks for the comments!!!

I have painted many large models so I am used to it....

As long as you dilute your colors properly there should be no problem.

Plus the use of washes and inks makes things easier!!!

Ah, I always wanted an ultra forge model... but as I live in the UK I was worried that customs may drill into it if there was an air bubble... and they do not compensate :D

Anyhoo it is good to see someone is enjoying the models!

Very well painted!

P.S and don't you feel good as some of your money went to charity :D
