Gentlemanloser
But the rumours for him are just starting to surface. And ignoring all his jucy Powers, Cyber Raven (Familiar) and Inbuilt 'better than a Psychic Hood' (depending on Range ofc) 3+ Nulifier. He gets this jucy ability; Did I mention Runic Weapons wounding Daemons on a 2+? Now if I can get those on normal Rune Priests, so much the better. To top it off, Logan and his ultra cheap costing WG Terminators, I can see myself using the new SW Codex to represnt an OM Inquisitor with a cohort of GKBC and GK Termnators. (Our lovely 'runic' Terminator armour!) Ones that get all sorts of nice 3++ Storm Shield saves, and faux Thor Thunderhammer throwing Goodness. And a smattering of Eternal Warrior to boot! I'm actually getting quite excited by the new Codex, as something to tide me over for the next couple of years until ours is finally redone (and going by the current trend, could you imagine what the Grey Knights would finally be like! lol!) Bring on some 'counts as'! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/177956-ive-a-feeling-naj-stormcaller-might-become-my-inquisitor/ Share on other sites
revnow
Heresy! Stay true to the fold. All wolfies are stupid furry heretics who channel Daemon energies, what gives it away is the fur. It would be nice to play with a competitive codex though. Poor dark angels, after the Blood Angels codex comes out they're going to look like the sad frumpy old man in the room. Alanter
Stay with DH! Nobody expects such heavy units while playing against a OM army. Our time will come... Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/177956-ive-a-feeling-naj-stormcaller-might-become-my-inquisitor/#findComment-2104227 Share on other sites
Justicar Valius
*sigh* it would be nice to play with a competitive codex. But think without the DH rules we can't press the auto win buttons that we have when it comes to friendly games vs daemons (oh how i love doing that) And also space wolves are just vicitms of misfortune when it comes to the fur Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/177956-ive-a-feeling-naj-stormcaller-might-become-my-inquisitor/#findComment-2104312 Share on other sites
Gentlemanloser
Thing is, I specifically don't use Sanctuary/GKGM versus Daemons, and I know that 3++ Storm Shields, Wound Daemons on 2+, instant removals (roll under your I or be removed, dice off when you kill Loki) and the Rerolls versus T5/MCs are going to be just as juicy! :D Hopefully, I won't have to be so reliant on using 2+ Land Raiders every game as well. ;) But this is all conjecture until the Codex is actually released! boreas
Well, I'm already using it for my pre-heresy style marines (the rumors show it's going to be very good for that!). If I can also use some WH and/or DH minis for "count as", so much the better! I'm with Gentlemanloser here; playing DH as become too repetitive. Either I get the mandatory Landraiders OR I get butchered trying to kite units that are faster and/or deadlier than me (ever count how many orks you get for the same points an unupgraded 8-men GK squad costs?).
