chaplainmikey
This is simply brilliant. Awesome conversion, great paintjob and an amazing base. I think seeing this may be a deciding factor on whether i start a Deamons or Khorne marine army. Cheers. koran
Duel wielding, nice! I dont know about the base. I can see what your looking to do and, dont get me wrong, it looks good but it makes for an almost totally red model... Sigismund Himself
Beautiful work, this is the closest I've seen anyone to capturing the true horror of the daemons of the warp ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/178011-bloodletter-herald/#findComment-2105573 Share on other sites
L0NEW0LF
thanks for the comments guys. I didnt actually go as far with the blood as i was originally going to. in the fluff Bloodletters are described as dripping in blood so i was originally planning on covering him with a mix of Tamiya Clear red and water effects. maybe next time lol Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/178011-bloodletter-herald/#findComment-2106186 Share on other sites
Malanok
*jaw drops* How did you manage to get such detail with wet blood? Whenever I try I end up removing detail from the model... Very nice (or nasty...) herald! Mal P.S what arm have you used to get the left handed sword? R-code
I like it a lot. Your painting and converting is very nice, I'd suggest trying your hand at some green stuff or other putty filler to take care of gaps like the one around the waist. ~Mike~ Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/178011-bloodletter-herald/#findComment-2106517 Share on other sites

Very nice (or nasty...) herald! Mal really really have to make sure the mini has had timr to dry properly before doing the blood. P.S what arm have you used to get the left handed sword? its a beastman arm chopped off at the bracer (armband) and attached onto the bloodletters arm. I like it a lot. Malanok
I mean, that when I do a blood mixture it is toothick and dries as solid lumps over the detail... I take it that you are not using gloss and reds to make your blood effects.. Really good work though! Malanok P.S and I was proud of my herald (just a normal blood letter on top of the Chaos lord base rock) XD Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/178011-bloodletter-herald/#findComment-2107352 Share on other sites
