LPetersson
So, I got the FW Brass Etchings and now I'm wondering what to do with them <_< I kinda thought they'd be a bit thicker, but obviously they're not... Do you guys paint over them or do you glue them on once you're done with the model? RedMoon
i have a bunch on my red scorpion army. i put them on before i primed them and just painted over them. there great cause you can bend them and they hold there shape. Grey Mage
Ive seen WIP picks that worked both ways. Id suggest primering them first just out of habit.... but yeah. IF it were me and my money Id make the model and and then put the etch on and then paint it at the end. Simply because thats what I do most of the time with my plastic wolf icons- it lets me pick the "open" spot on the model that could use a bit of sprucing up and allows me to do a little more modeling with my unit near the end. Modeling is actually my favorite part. :P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/178075-forgeworld-brass-etchings/#findComment-2105399 Share on other sites
