the fluff is our wolf lords will be able to use this, we'll have to wait and see...

this is what lysander uses that makes him so hard? or am I incorrect?

I hope we don't lose 'runic charms' for our WG as they helped Lord Grimnar and his WG give him and his squad of alpha legion lackies (are they chaos)a good thrashing once upon a time in an epic battle.

Eternal warrior makes a massive difference. I've used Lysander in a few games and he can take on almost anything. Of course he also has a str10 MC thunderhammer and SS.

I think this will become the first choice for most wolf lords. Getting slapped by a hidden fist or monstrous creature is no fun, so i am very happy to see this one. Anyone actually know how many points it is?

35 I think. Sagas are pretty amazing. What I found after breezing through the codex, was that characters can become expensive really really fast. The special characters are already pretty crazy, but I'm just talking about DIY Wolf lords, and Wolf Priests. We had one guy throw together a quick list to see how few points he could get in a 1750pt tournament legal army. Result, 14 models. lol.

I am really looking forward to actually buying the codex in Oct.

As you go over the 200 mark, they had better be true monsters. Lysander is 200, but is perhaps underpriced. With the option to take so many HQs, it would be easy to blow 500+ points on non scoring units like HQs.

I'm looking for eternal warrior, frost blade, SS. Then have at it! maybe a jump pack to get him there quicker (if he can have it!)

The hunter saga looks nice, but is he on his own? or an he take a squad? Saying that, an angry lone HQ would be amusing running rampant up a flank.
