Apothecary Daxam
Wait, how many kits did you buy!? I count lots of TDA there! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/178165-delving-into-the-hulk/page/2/#findComment-2111360 Share on other sites
Doghouse
I bought two sets which gives me twenty four terminators and I have another ten or so AoBR terminators that I can convert to go with them. To begin with I'm aiming for three characters, one ten man squad, one five and one five man assault squad. I will be keeping one set of ten unconverted except for the bases. Apothecary Daxam
Like I said in Exterminatus, I admire your courage in doing a lot of conversion work on limited models. Good luck! Lavaman
Nice work man, but IMO the bases don't really work. Textured plasticard would have been a better option or maybe some custom resin ones like these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/40mm-round-industria...id=p3286.c0.m14 I'll be watching this thread with interest :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/178165-delving-into-the-hulk/page/2/#findComment-2111559 Share on other sites
Brother Noctis
I think you got some really nice conversions and painting there. I especially like your Assault Cannon guy. Keep up the good work! :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/178165-delving-into-the-hulk/page/2/#findComment-2111583 Share on other sites
Doghouse
Cheers guys! ;) These pictures aren't great because the settings on my camera are out of wack and it was a bit of a rush job but it should give you some idea of what I've been up to till I can get some proper shots. The Dreadnaught is made from the AoBR model and I've begun to add some bits from the SH Terminators. WIP Dreadnaught http://i36.tinypic.com/4h49c2.jpg Here's the early stages of the Assault squad. I'm going to add a third lightning claw terminator marine and swap out one of the storm shields for a regular one. WIP Terminator Assault Squad http://i37.tinypic.com/2sa181x.jpg Just started the Captain. I'm base coating with shining gold before applyiing washes and highlighting. WIP Basecoated Captain http://i34.tinypic.com/2ryomdf.jpg This is the humble beginnings of Squad Decimus. I'm basically converting the AoBR marines to make a mix of armour variants. The one on the far left will have one of the Pre-Heresy Ultramarines style crusader helms whilst the two on the right will be Mk IV armour. WIP Squad Decimus http://i33.tinypic.com/nyihw4.jpg These next guys are made from left over bits and will be blinged up to match their brothers. Montuhotep
I confidently predict that that captain is going to be a mixture of sweet and brutal. Justin Kase
I just love how seamlessly you blended the AoBR, Regular Termies and SH Termies together - you are truely talented :P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/178165-delving-into-the-hulk/page/2/#findComment-2119015 Share on other sites
