I actually redid that one to make him back into a Grey Hunter, I needed 10 GH and ran out of legs. Here is a second picture I took at the same time as the first that has a little better angle

Wow. What were they thinking when they made that head? I bet it was something like- "hey man I bet we could save a bunch of money if we cut that johnny bravo hairstyle in half!"

EDIT: (for those who don't know who jonny bravo is, he was a cartoon character that looks like this:

Is it bad that I wanted to say:

Wow Vrox! What a frickin awesome conversion, howd you do it?

I think the only thing i did on that one was trim a beard. Other than that is straight off the new sprue. For some reason he kept on asking for more wolf skulls to be put on. I could only get three for him. This guy likes his wolf skulls.
Care to tell me how you did that base?

Real simple, A squirt of molding glue, the kind of glue you use to put up molding on a ceiling, spread it around and put a few small rocks into it before it dries. Once dry wet brush white, then dry brush white.

Will have to check the camera, the colors came though a little bland, cant seem to see the difference in the skull color and my white highlights

At first I didn't really like the Wolf Helm. I liked it even less this afternoon when I advance ordered a box of SW and saw the wolf helm on the cover in a different colour to the armour. But painted up uniformly with the armour, I have to admit I'm warming up to it.

Keep it up.

Well, I decided to slow the heck down to ensure I give these models the attention they deserve. The detail is a bit overwhelming to to tell you the truth, but press on I shall.

Will pick it up again tomorrow but wanted to leave you with a picture I call;

Either that or they'd just finished watching There's Something About Mary.....

Just a quick question...

Is Space Wolves grey the best paint? or will the grey/blue foundation paint work?

I really really don't find it easy paiting more than small areas easy with the normal paint, but foundations are much much better....

Hey good work there Vrox, i have 3000pts of 13th co that i might repaint a codex grey.

I have mission success! Well i just dropped them and the bolter fell off and is now lost from the plasma pistol guy :(

I present 4 GH and a LF pack leader. I hope the LF leader can take a storm bolter.

These have been a real joy to paint and i'm looking forward to the next project....5 terminators in 10 days! just need the models! until then i'm making skyclaws and bikes.
