Skirnir Ragefang
Step 1: Go get the Codex on October the 3. Step 2: Sit yerself down with a nice ale and study the Codex. Step 3: Compose an Armylist, read Tacticas or this forum Step 4: Buy the models Step 5: Game away Don't get any models yet, as the new Wolfsprues look much much better. Just wait the few weeks and get yerself a set of Power armoured Wolves, you can always use some of these. Best way to get started would probably be the new Battleforce, a Box of Space Marine Devestators and one of the Space wolf HQ Models (or convert one yourself). Nadir
The brand new SW battleforce will be on October the 17. The best way to start is (as Skirnir just wrote) buy the Codex. Spacefrisian
Another thing. Stop calling yourself a Neophyte youve been promoted to Bloodclaw. Now get yourself some powerarmour and youre tankard from the Ironpriest. Grey Mage
Welcome to the Fang. Those who caution you to buy the coming codex and wait for the new miniatures make a very good point Im afraid. If youve got the modeling bug, and got it bad, you might buy a rhino or a drop pod to build and paint, or a "combat squad" to try out some paint schemes on. Now get yourself some powerarmour and youre tankard from the Ironpriest. I think GW should change all the names of the armoury to fit space wolves - what i have in mind and my propositions: - Power armour: wolf(en) suit - TDA: fenrisian suit what do you think ? Night Runner
Hi Bevulf, I like the idea, it would fit in more with the fluff, but I have a hard enough time remembering what all the other wolf gear are equivalent to!! I'm getting old mate. Oh by the way I'm new as well, just joined in today. I think its the best SW forum around.
