Old LF / WScout Models discontinued?

With the new way GW is going to be selling space wolves, do you think LF and WS blisters will be discontinued. If so, I am considering going down and buying up the new/old long fang box and picking up the WS blisters.

 

I almost prefer the old long fang models compared to wolfing up the SM devestator squad box.

 

Whats your opinion?

Already been discontinued, not sure about scouts but Long Fangs have been pulled, you might find a few boxes lying around, like there's one at GW Cambridge but they pulled them a couple of months ago.

They have quite a number of sw scout models around here.

to be honest i don't know why you don't wanna beef up reg space marines with the pack kit. I've always hated blisters for the lack of customization

I never bought the 3rd-4rth LF box. I thought it was a horrid rip-off.

 

I just salvaged MLs from my friends armies and put them on a combat squad... thats all I want for my longfangs anyways.

 

And now, with the new devastator box giving you 2 of everything BUT a ML, it seems like more of a rip-of than before.

 

The Wolf Scouts Id be sad about, the current ones arent my favorite sculpt... but they are a long shot better than the in-the-lou heads normal scouts come with.

Yes, the sm scout heads aren't great but gw put all the wolf scout heads in the wolf pack box set, they basically want you to buy the pack, which with you can combine with devestators, scouts, tactical marines, and assault marines, to make long fangs, wolf scouts, grey hunters, or blood claws, respectively. I actually like that idea of having a full bitz box so whenever i get a new sm box i can just add alot of great wolfy bits. way better ,in my opinion, than paying 45 dollars for a long fang box set that isn't even as customizable as the 35 dollar devestator box set with multiples of each weapon. Plus, correct me if i'm wrong, but i believe the old wolf scouts were only made with metal. so more expensive, less customizable, and not even great looking in my opinion. pretty much the same as the devestators actually...

I went down to the LGS and looked at the Long Fang box, I thought I remember seeing the space wolf emblem on the weapons and more wolfy looking legs but I was wrong. They had neither so I didn't buy em.
