Questions from a Blood Claw

White Hunter

Recommended Posts

Hello to all the hearty members of the Fang. As a brand new pup I had a couple gaming and fluff questions.

Does furious charge improve the initiarive and strength of a power fist or thunder hammer, or are they not affected?

Can upgrade characters be buffed by another character?

Does Ragnar give furious charge to his unit all the time or just the one time he howls.

I was looking at the new codex info and thought that a unit with Arjack and Ragnar could possibly be the deadliest unit on the game. potentially 5 S10 TH attacks on the charge plus Ragnar's ridiculous number of attacks.

Fluff Questions?

What great company do Njal Stormcaller and Ulric the slayer belong to?

Where can I find a list of all the current Wolf Lords?

Thanks

Greetings little brother! Mikal your friendly Rune Priest and fluff nut here!

1) Furious charge affects the strength, yes, but you multiply first then add, so it'll be nine for our units, alas no initiative bonus

2)Yes it is possible for a character to add his abilities to another special one, there may be some exceptions but you could have Ragnar and Logan in a squad to gain some pretty savage beef

3)From what I have been told he grants it to his unit all the time. The howl is for other units.

4)Njarl and Ulrik are members of the Great Wolf's company, as are all priests. They are a seperate company that is ruled by the Great Wolf

5)

Ragnar Blackmane

Sven Bloodhowl

Kjarl Grimblood

Bran Redmaw

Engir Krakendoom

Erik Morkai

Gunnar Red Moon

Logan Grimnar (Great Wolf)

Harald Deathwolf

Bjorn Stormwolf

Egil Iron Wolf

Krom Dragongaze

Welcome to the Fang.

And a quick arithmetic lesson: PEMDAS

Parenthesis

Exponents

Multiplication

Division

Addition

Subtraction

What does this mean? Simple- always multiply and then add bonuses. So if a character had +1 strength from a skill and then used a powerfist they would end up with strength 9. A character who simply had strength 5 would have 10. Works the other way around too- you lose one point of strength it only goes down from 10 to 9, or more normally from 8 to 7.

Good stuff yeah?
