Brother Amarel
Well he did look ripe for Papa Nurgle's blessing :) http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b187/jglover4/DSCF1761.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b187/jglover4/DSCF1762.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b187/jglover4/DSCF1763.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b187/jglover4/DSCF1764.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b187/jglover4/DSCF1766.jpg And yup, I too can see all the mistakes that the camera has highlighted - I'll get fixing later on <_< Amarel. Brother Amarel
Thats what happens when you send a Nurgling to get you a snack........ Captain Mike
Are you going to use him in-game? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/178632-nurgle-sorc-in-termie-armour-with-rot/#findComment-2112832 Share on other sites
Brother Amarel
Are you going to use him in-game? Yup - As a Terminator Sorc with Nurgle's Rot. That way he can Deep Strike and cast Rot (in a passive manner as if it were an accidental landing on the field of battle). I think I'll probably add a couple of extra Nurglings (there's one round the back behind his right arm) to his base at some point to justify movement and any CC attacks. Rob_Loken
That's cool, I like it. You could have his throne borne by nurglings like the Epidemius model. Brother Amarel
That's cool, I like it. You could have his throne borne by nurglings like the Epidemius model. :) And then it could double up as a Sorc on Palanquin, too :) Ta :). But....if his is wearing Terminator armour wouldn't he end up with a Nurgling paste? Forgot to mention, very nice paint job. Brother Amarel
But....if his is wearing Terminator armour wouldn't he end up with a Nurgling paste? That's be a tasty condiment for his chips, though ^_^. I've always assumed Nurglings to be both highly malleable and instantly replaceable, so if one gets squidged out of existence another just pops up to continue his work. Forgot to mention, very nice paint job. Thanks :). Keyoz Devastrius
I'm not sure about the aquilla on the back of his throne but the chalices work well as Nurgle themed iconography- I remember I've read somewhere long time ago that one of many Nurgles symbols was a chalice filled up with worms. Sons of Horus
it sort of has a creepy feel to it ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/178632-nurgle-sorc-in-termie-armour-with-rot/#findComment-2113716 Share on other sites
Brother Amarel
I left the Aquilla so as I could age and decay it a bit. I remember the chalice of worms stuff, but not sure where from. I'm sure it's more recent than Slaves to Darkness / the Lost and the Damned, so it might be in of the WHFB chaos army books... Creepy was what I was after ^_^. I think he'll remain looking creepy even once I do add the Nurglings (in fact their motion, compared to his static nature might help even more). Thanks a lot for all the comments, guys; much appreciated. Brother Amarel
Thanks, Aeroplane :) I'm just finishing an Undivided Termicide unit before embarking on a Plague Marine unit to sometimes-accompany this guy - I'll post when they're ready for viewing (will probably do them in various states of decay from Blood to Blood (and Guts) Angels. Lord Rao
All I can think about is all those BA players frothing at the mouth when they see how you've defiled their late 1st Co brother :( Oh, and on those "mistakes" you mention: I think you've got nothing to worry about. It looks ace. Well done! LR Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/178632-nurgle-sorc-in-termie-armour-with-rot/#findComment-2120385 Share on other sites
Brother Amarel
Thanks, Lord Rao :D. (I did worry that I might find an angry-looking vampiric presence in my house seeking revenge, but nothing so far; perhaps they're waiting to be invited :cuss :lostboys:) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/178632-nurgle-sorc-in-termie-armour-with-rot/#findComment-2121848 Share on other sites
Sanguinius Chosen Wing
Great job but it doesnt really seem to say Nurgle to me personally. Tzeentch maybe? Maybe a little more rust/green or the nurglings you were suggesting may sort that out. In any case it is an excellent and unique sorccerer.
