IM HOLDING OUT FOR A HERO !

Having watched the Codex post on Youtube one thing that's seriously worrying me is the question of our I.C.'s.

We have Njall as a new figure but zippo else,The Ragnar model is extremely static and Logan G is an anatomical nightmare.I know Logan is in a good action pose but along with Ulric all our key players are now extremely dated.

Is there any chance of a 2nd wave set of release do you think (know).?

We actually have so few dynamic/action/running figures with our new stuff,it doesnt really portray the Wolves spirit in my opinion !

GOD bless .......................V

Basically I am greedy for new models and we deserve some uber characters after all these years. I bet my long fangs F.W. do a Dread though, they have with all the other newbs !

Well we've got two nifty plastic kits which appears to have been their focus, I agree I would like to see an updated Grimnar, purely for size though.

Are there new illustrations of our characters in the new codex ,or have they just regurgitated the old ones ?

All of them except for Ragnar, Bjorn and the Hammer Thrower. Guess Bjorn might double as a standard SW V.Dread.

They'll be second wave. From a marketing view its the best option.

Players will be excited and want to buy new stuff 1st wave, so they crank out the 'lesser' SC's knowing they will fly off the shelves as people just see 'oooh shiny!'

Had they released new Ragnar/Logan first how bothered would you be by a trickster/canis models 9 months from now? Not very, as your new larger logan or more animated Ragnar have their place cemented. But releasing new 'core' characters at a later date keeps players hungry, they know these established SCs will sell regardless. But new stuff they need the help of a new release frenzy to shift off shelves.

You'll probably also see forge world do Thunderwolves, maybe Bjorn too.
