Archon_77
Hey all! So couple weeks ago I ordered a lot of random bits to rig myself a couple of plastic PAGK's, mosly just because I wanted to do some different poses and weapons. What I found was that a Khorne Berzerker helm makes a pretty neat GK helm with little fuss if you cut off the horns on the top and file down the sides, while removing the little plastic brads (zits? pocks?) that are around the eyeslit. I don't really care what other players think of using a Choas helm on a GK, mostly because A: It doesn't look like a choas helm anymore, there are no jutting random bits or blood on it or whatever anymore; and B: It truly looks bad ass. I have discovered I throughly enjoy the modding aspect of the hobby, and really want to do more. Does anyone else have any conversions they have done to create plastic GK's from other sprues? I think a lively discussion of how to bastardize more modern models into the GK fold could be fun. revnow
You should post pics when you make such claims :ermm:. Someone posted a tutorial to making GKTs out of regular terminators and some plasticard a while back. They looked really cool, and I'm imagining were quite a bit easier to paint. Gentlemanloser
I make mine from a combination of SM/GK parts. But without reliable bits ordering, it gets expensive. :) Helm: BT Upgrade Sprue, SM Champion Torso: BT Tabard, Mk8 Torso Legs: Plastic SM legs with no knee pads Left Arm: GKT Metal SB arm, SM arm with a held SB and one of the large Pads Right Arm: PAGK Metal arm, SM arm with a Power Sword Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/178970-quick-and-easy-gk-helm/#findComment-2117927 Share on other sites
