I'm slightly confused

I've spent a lot of time with our codex recently and tried making a list from it, however I just can't, which is odd considering that Grey Hunters have become cheaper. I just couldn't get a grip with the list and make something that I feel fits the fluff and the way I want to play.

It might just be awe at looking at all the new stuff but I'm concerned I won't be able to create a list I'm happy with.

Anyone else been having issues?

The only trouble I've been having is deciding what to put it. It all seems pretty great especially the new units like Lone Wolves, TW Calvary, and Wolf Packs. Not to mention that some things from the old codex are more usable now like long fangs(cost came down).

Your rules being Fluff>models>rules. How do you view how the wolves should play according to the fluff? Start from there and build on it.

The main problem I am having at the moment is deciding what to do with the spare points and what to replace my MM attack bike squadron with. I am also debating whether or not to start playing a foot slogging list, as I have had good results using foot sloggers while testing the new codex at my GW and I fancy a change from mechanised.

IMO, if you want to drop the transports add some swiftclaw bike packs and add your MM attack bikes into those swifclaw packs, killing two birds with one stone. And it will still give you some maneuverability(sp?)

You probably won't be able to get all your attack bikes in swiftclaw packs cuz of limit 1 per pack but I guess it depends on your list (EDIT: How many points you get from holding back on transports).

I've had problems with fitting all the stuff that I want into one list, but that's about it.

Me too; now I might have to take up Apocolypse just fit everything in. If I played more often, I could just rotate things into play, but since I don't get to play as often as i would like, I have to fight the urge to take everything and take units according to their ability to complete the tasks I need for them to accomplish. I discuss this concept in Valerian's Guide to Army Building, and will add to it soon.
