Ragnars Claw
For my new army i want to paint the insides of my vehicles. My question to you is how do you see the insides of Wolf vehicles looking? Generic insides like other chapters or wolfified insides with pelts, wooden seats etc to make it more like a room in the Fang? Opinions welcome :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/179043-space-wolf-vehicles/ Share on other sites
Decoy
Hey there, RC. Well, as much as I'd be tempted to tell you "Tanks look like bar-rooms!", I can't help but feel that the Wolfy way isn't one of wanton drunkenness. (I know, I may lose my Wolf Uberfan Club membership for that.) What I'd suggest is probably, as you said, wooden seats and tapestries proclaiming the victories of the squads contained within. Medals and trophies, grisly reminders of the foes conquered. Now, if you want to get REALLY snazzy about it, you could adorn each member of the corresponding squad with the types of trophies on the interior, be it wolf pelts or Tyranid skulls or... hell, why not? A flagon or two. Just make sure that you don't try to make the interior of the vehicle completely unrealistic, as in "This is where they party, take a poop, fight, and carouse." A rhino, Razorback, or Land Raider (Okay, maybe the Land Raider has room) are combat vehicles above all else. Hope I helped, mate. And if you do something like that, I WANT PICTURES! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/179043-space-wolf-vehicles/#findComment-2118386 Share on other sites
muzzyman1981
Probibly wolfed up a bit (although the seats would probibly be metal but painted/designed to look like wood maybe, after all when you are bouncing around the inside of a Rhino a Space Wolf in power armor would break through wood on a good bounce....although they might be painted, or even real, stone benches too). Runes carved into the bulkheads, pelts and tails attached inside, etc. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/179043-space-wolf-vehicles/#findComment-2118388 Share on other sites
Decoy
Aye Muzzy. Hardcore Rune-age, for the Lucky Pelt, the Lucky Table, the Lucky Stool, the Lucky Bench, and the Lucky Puke-bucket. And no, I'm not being the least bit sarcastic. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/179043-space-wolf-vehicles/#findComment-2118392 Share on other sites
Vlk
Well it still would be awesome to have a battle-worn Space Wolves Rhino with pink pony wallpapers and lots of green stuff teddy bears. Ragnars Claw
Ok so if i went down the line of wolfy but not comedy beer hall wolfy then i wouldn't be far from the mark it would seem. Decoy
I'd agree with that, Claw. If you went with any "Beer hall" theme, if anything, it'd be sort of the dark, shady Tavern with the creepy, smelly guy in the back (That's me!) who looks like he might stab you for looking at him funny. No comedy there. That's just my take, and comedy has no place in my 40K. Iz seereeus biznis.
