dublindawg
This is my fluff attempt to create my own company. I'm sure as time goes on I will fluff it out more, but here it is for now: Vikarr Winterclaw, the Winter Wolves: Wearing pelt of a white wolf and welding a large frost axe, Vikarr Winterclaw lusts for blood on the battlefield. With a mighty howl, Vikarr can be seen in many a battle leading his wolf guard deep into the hearts of the enemy line. Vikarr Winterclaw was born during the height of a Hellwinter on a long ship. The long ship that bore him reached shore empty save him. This was an ominous sign, good or bad, no one knew. While he was taken in by others of his clan he was treated as an outcast as he grew up. This made Vikarr work and fight harder to prove his worth. It was this attitude that caught the attention of the Rune Priests of the Space Wolves and lead to his induction into the chapter. Over many battles and years, Vikarr advanced in rank within the chapter. Vikarr was promoted to a Wolf Lord during the time when Harek Ironhelm was the Great Wolf. Vikarr’s first battle as the Wolf Lord of the Winter Wolves company occurred on Gangava. Deployed along side Harek Ironhelm during the assault on Gangava, Vikarr showed that he was the worthy of the title of Wolf Lord. Vikarr went about the battlefield slaying chaos troops with his frost axe. When it was discovered that the Harek was deceived by the Thousand Sons, Vikarr hurriedly called his brothers to return their starship, the Winter Wolf, and set course for Fenris. When the Winter Wolf emerged from the warp above Fenris, they did not find a single enemy ship orbiting their beloved planet. It was only then that it was discovered that agents of chaos had teleported onto the Winter Wolf during the battle at Gangava and sabotaged the guidance systems causing the ship to arrive centuries later while only a short period of time had passed for the Winter Wolves. With it now being M41 it was a time of great joy and sorrow for the Winter Wolves. They found their home world and citadel intact but no place at the table as one of the 12 great companies of the Space Wolves. It is with this knowledge that the Winter Wolves returned to their ship and made it their new home. The Winter Wolves return to Fenris every 7 years for re-supplying and to tell the sagas of their journey through the stars. Decoy
... Alright, I think you might need to expand a bit, mate. I won't lie, this left me quite a bit confused to the nature of "Chapter", "Company", and this Company's place within the Fang. Decoy
Okay. Better. I think it stands well, mate, though elaboration of any sort is always welcome. I'd love to see that fleshed out a bit more, expanded upon, maybe make some of that Kson rivalry more personal. Looks good, mate. And welcome to the Fang. Nab yourself an ale, on me, pull up a chair, and enjoy yourself. Levitas
I like it, sounds like a true hero of old! On one hand it is cool the way GW has fleshed out all the wolflords in the codex. But at the same time forces us fluff lovers to come with elaborate stories for our own wolf lord creations. Would have been nice if they had left a few gaps, like they did with the founding chapters.
