Nope I never have. Since I have only played 5th edition, I never saw the point. The stuff in the Witchhunters book is cool and all (the article references troop components), but I don't really want to draw attention to the stuff in my books since according to it my opponent can take psychic powers for free using the Psychic Apocalypse rules.

On the plus side the book does have some old if dated rules for traitor guardsmen and apostate cardinals. The Apostate Cardinal is something of an expensive punk (3 wound guardsman with a Rosarius and only a close combat weapon), but he does have one nice ability.

never saw the point of buying all the stuff to build one item for a one off mission. A waste if you ask me. for the cost of the parts I could buy more sisters for my army and use them in every game

And andrewm9 the rules for the adversaries is not that bad and in fact most of the time my group just ignores using them as a waste.

I built one. I used a computer fan for the hull and a plastic cup for the nozzle on top. The clear combustor section is from a one liter bottle cut to height.

True, it's a 'one off' model but it makes an interesting display piece. You really get into the Inquisition mindset thinking about this stuff.

I could see a variation of this as a unit in a standard game, maybe Tank shocking the enemy to scoop/Hoover them up in to the the chamber, and the count down is started. Enemy units are stunned for a turn and can then attempt to break out in CC. APOC maybe??

An army of women with giant dust busters appeals to me.
