My Plague Marine squad

Nice work there, but please please please resize your pictures, they are far to huge. There are even special sites for that! ^^

What still needs work are the guns, maybe a brush of Boltgun Metal or Mithril Silver to at least define the details. And the red cables could do with either a wash of black for shadows or highlights with a brighter red. Or both. My advice ^^

Crisp clean paint job. Though I do agree that the red cables could do with a wash. A brown wash may be better as it will give a more natural shadow. For the bolters you could paint them up in boltgun metal and then wash them in hues of brown and green to tie them in with the armour. The only thing I dislike is the actual unity of the squad. Their armour has little individuality in terms of colour. Maybe doing some oil or pus stains using inks or washes...so give it the look that something is dripping out of certain points in the armour.

Hope this helps and good luck with the rest of your army, Messanger

I quite like the guns like that actually. I may do a tester with your advice to see if I might change my mind.

The whole model was washed with Devlan Mud and then Gryphonne Sepia. They're actually a bit darker and more shaded IRL. Below are some pictures that better show that, though they are still darker. I don't know how to get that through in the pictures.

Where did you get all those packs???

I got them off a UK bits website. They cost me dearly, but I think it was worth it :)

I like that idea actually. Anyone have a good technique for this?

Darker (more accurate) pictures:

I tried some Badab Black wash on one of my tester PMs. The tube on the left has the black wash, the one on the right doesn't. I think the one without the black wash is more subtly shaded, which I like.
