My new collection of marines (having collected Blood Angels and DIY Chapters previously with little skill) consists purely of the Space Hulk Termies. Where they're still with white undercoat I've either i) forgotten to do that bit or ii) not decided yet. Do you base coat with white or black spray? I base coat with black because I get a better finish on the purple but my white ends up all streaky. I have an aversion to using a black undercoat unless it's going to be an almost entirely silver and/or gold model. No idea why, though :huh: For my white areas - perhaps silly as it is when I've already undercoated white - I use Codex Grey, Space Wolves Grey and then finally a coat (or perhaps two if I want pure white) of Skull White to finish. All of which reminds me: my SH termies are 95% complete, while there's a couple of sets of AoBR Marines who are nearing completion too. Must take some pics to post!
