Also love the legion of the damned, maybe a bit more to the regular termies bases (is it finished?) Am thinking of doing an army like this with Space Wolves new codex! Maybe you should try it? 1TH0R3 Posted September 28, 2009 Author Share Posted September 28, 2009 Yay another reply!. once again thanks for kind words. base on normal termie not finished( along with the other 50 termies :D ) I would love to be able to do a master class but im physically and mentally unable :) , oh well practice makes perfect. Unfortunately my sister found the white spraypaint so now my ironclads are 'snow themed' ( gonna fix them up after finish painting my entry for young bloods) Yea these are gonna be using the space wolves rules (Friggin Awsome!) Thor= Arjac Rockfist and such. Yea thanks. the ironclads (or the venerable) wernt quite finished but then as i said before my sister got to the white spray :D oh and the fluff for my ironclads was gonna be something like they were twins or something like that; hence the likeliness between them. but i think you are right so i will try to make them look different :) oh and sorry bout my 'impatientness' :D Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

My only grip is with the painting - Adding copious amounts of gore and blood splatter tends to be something left until the rest of the model is finished. I like the dark feeling of the paint jobs and can appreciate it may be what you are aiming for but another layer of highlights to help distinguish the individual armour plates etc could help without making them too light. That aside, i do love you master and i think those LoTD look justifiably killy! Keep going a post more as you get them, i do like what i see and would love to see more. Cheers I can't really help you with that, but I CAN tell you that the Green Stuff work on him is too round. Looks a bit like the Michelin man. I get the impression you are doing everthing far too fast. Sit down with one model straight out the blister yea? a model you love the look of... Your all time personal favorite maybe... You see my young brothers, Chaos my close one door, But the holy Emperor in his wisdom opens another. Beef him up and i think your on a winner. And besides space marines are suppose to be what 7ft right? As if anything in the world of 40k makes sense XD, But hey thats my two sence i like it. As you said on my thread about the ideas, I too have a Hero in mind with 2 hammers or axes. I got 2 of the new wolf guard axes so looking foward to using them for somthing sweet. Im thinking more bukly armour after all its not called Tactical dreanought armour for nothing right :(. Maybe gs the legs to look kinda like the layered armour of a tech marine ?
