Ithmaril Posted September 27, 2009 Share Posted September 27, 2009 To make a very long story very short, I had to sell my pre-heresy World Eaters army to pay some bills, but I'm too much of a plastic crack and hobby addict to give the whole thing up. So I've figured out that with all the leftover Marine stuff and bits I kept, I could build at least 1k points of vanilla Marines- nothing too exciting, except for the fact that there is a scheme I wanted to paint since I saw it for the first time. Eldanesh's BoLS Star Phantoms. Well, they freehands are not quite same-size or symmetrical, especially the chapter logo varies, but those are gaming pieces and the freehands look good and unifying enough on the table top. J-Man, I've done a quick mock-up of the usual freehand steps, hope that helps. I first finish the turquoise on the shoulder pad and then use pure vallejo game color skull white to paint the logo on.
